Thank you for taking the time to read my bio! I am a big believer that you are the expert on you. I value the therapeutic relationship and becoming partners in our journey together. I enjoy working with many groups of people from all walks of life. I use a laid-back and compassionate approach; above all, your therapy experience should be comfortable and free of judgment.
I earned a master’s degree in social work from the University of Nebraska Omaha (2024) and a bachelor’s degree in social work from Nebraska Wesleyan University (2020). In addition to my educational background, I spent time as a mental health therapy intern in a group practice and worked with clients from various backgrounds and with varying reasons for coming to therapy. I have extensive pre-license experience working with individuals living with mental illness, their families, and community providers. I have a passion for normalizing mental health problems, with the hope that we can live in a world with less stigma attached to those experiences. I have also very much enjoyed working with elders in nursing home environments and end-of-life care and their families.
I employ evidence-based therapeutic approaches tailored to meet each of my client’s unique needs. There is no “one size fits all” in therapy. I provide personalized support to foster resilience, enhance coping skills, and promote overall well-being. I work as a guide and support to provide a safe and supportive space, psychoeducation, and coping skills.
In my free time, you can find me walking my dog, trying a new recipe, finding new hiking spots, or reading.
